Why I Listen to Michael Jackson’s Songs: Cuz It’s Not Just Music

There is something about this man.

Michael Jackson continues to inspire millions of people around the world. His enduring music is reminiscent of an era that stood witness to some of the greatest musical treatments of all times. I listen to his music the whole time. When I’m in love, his music takes me on a romantic fantasy ride; when I’m running low on energy, his songs refill me with hope, self-belief and encouragement.

Rarely have I seen a musician in my life whose creations have contributed to practically all conceivable aspects of human lives. When I listen to the Earth Song, I feel deeply driven towards my responsibilities for Planet Earth. “They Don’t Care About Us” inspires me to put my feet firmly down on the ground and fight back against injustice meted out to me by the external forces. “Keep The Faith” takes me to a realm of “Can-do” possibilities, “Man in the Mirror” instills the will power in me to reach out to the less-privileged brethren, and “We are The World” unites me with the rest of the world every time the world at large is faced with virtually insuperable challenges.

Michael’s music digs deep into the human emotions and answers some of the most disturbing questions we face within ourselves in our day-to-day life. Whether you’re entrapped with a 9-5 job that does’t fulfill you, stuck in a relationship wherein you’re being taken for granted, overcome by the devil to break free of your uncomfortable inner-self or just leading a lonely life stricken by your subconscious ego, Michael’s music answers it all and acts like therapy!

Nuff respect for the man who has used his musical excellence for the benefits of millions and the world community at large. No wonder why music was never merely a part of him, cuz he was music personified.
